Direct Protection of Doucs and other animals
We employ local people to provide direct protection of critically endangered douc populations. Local people remove snares and all kinds of traps set on the ground and in the trees. Providing conservation jobs supports effective and sustainable conservation of the Douc Langur population. When we find living animals in traps, we release them if they are healthy. If we find injured animals, we take them to local veterinarians for rehabilitation and release them if possible.
